- Anguilla
has a good selection of excellent restaurants and small bars
with music and beachside dancing. Several bars have happy hour
with live music and dancing every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
and Sunday.
- In high
season, the resort hotels also include performances of local
steel bands.
- Plays
are sometimes put on at the Ruthwill Auditorium and the National
Theatre Group performs at some hotels. Visitors with theater
experience are welcome to join in with the local actors. A special
treat is the Mayoumba Folkloric Theatre performance in drama
and song every Thursday night at La Sirena Hotel.
- The friendly
and safe atmosphere embraces visitors everywhere on the island,
so you can feel free to dance and party until the wee hours
of the night.
- Whether
you like to listen to reggae on the beach, soca after sunset,
or relax to the sounds of a saxophone, chances are somewhere
on the island your tune is playing.
- On 35
square miles, it isn't hard to find out about the local happenings.
Just ask a native.
