specialties. You'll also find baked chicken and other favorites
made with as many recipes as there are cooks. And the renowned
sweet Eleutheran pineapple wine is available everywhere, as
is the tempting selection of tropical drinks made from it throughout
the islands.

A unique experience is the local fish fry sponsored
by the Central Eleuthera Junkanoo Committee every Friday night
on Anchor Beach just past Cupid's Cay. Fish and conch fritters
cooked over wood fires have that just-caught flavor, crisp and
brown. The whole evening is a fun and memorable experience.

Nightlife George Town closes early, which is
still later than the rest of the island. After-dark entertainment
takes place in various hotel bars that take turns presenting
live music, usually a mixture of American tunes and Bahamian
rhythms.

The Exuma Islands have a variety of restaurants
in every price range and experience. A sure bet is your local
hotel. Dishes are familiar, with an emphasis on seafood made
with a touch of Bahamian flavor.

The nightlife on Grand Bahama Island is an exciting
part of your island experience. Las Vegas-style shows and action

fills the night air on Grand Bahama Island at many local nightclubs.

Square for live bands, fire-eaters and local entertainers. Plus,
The Yellow Bird Club, close to the International Bazaar, featuring
limbo, steel drums, fire dancing and glass eaters.

exciting restaurants, pubs, bars and nightclubs that will entertain
you all night long.

is a popular favorite where visitors can join locals and enjoy
