The natives know how to have a good time any one of the British Virgin Islands. Whatever island you may visit, the night is sure to sizzle with pig roasts or all-you-can-eat seafood buffets. Check out any of these hot spots for popular happy hours and a memorable night on the town.

Tortola

  • The islands are also famous for full moon party every month, but be sure to sleep before you go. You'll be awake to see the sun rise.
  • On North Beach Coast, Bomba's Beach Shack has Bomba's famous full moon parties at Apple Bay. Packed on Wednesdays and Sundays as well, Bomba's is known for its excellent Reggae bands and punch made from a secret recipe of passionfruit, pineapple, papaya, orange, guava, and banana juices mixed with homemade rum.
  • Quito's Gazebo in Cane Garden Bay features Quito Rymer and his band, The Edge, on Friday and Saturday nights. Quito plays love songs, calypso, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley and a mellow beat on an acoustic guitar on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights as well as his own songs. Myett's, another popular hot spot, always seems to have a dance crowd with bands on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Also, Da Wedding has local bands like Lashing Dogs and Lover Boy on Wednesdays with a fish fry.
  • In Road Town, around Wickham's Cay and Main Street Area, Pusser's Pub has nickel beer night Thursdays and happy hour daily. Cafesito has live R & B music on Saturday and Wednesdays and happy hour daily as well. Something different is Zodiacs with live entertainment on the 3rd Saturday of every month, with a birthday party for people with that month's zodiac sign.
Virgin Gorda
  • North Sound's bars attract a mixed crowd. Pusser's at Leverick Bay has local bands on Wednesdays and Saturdays, daily 25 cent chicken wings and beer specials. All-you-can-eat cajun shrimp is popular on Fridays. Biras Creek has a steel band on Saturday evenings and the Bitter End Yacht Club has live entertainment several nights a week.
  • The Valley boasts many bars with great deals on all-you-can-eat buffets and drink specials. Rock Cafe has love music on Fridays accompanied by an authentic island fish fry and on Sundays you can sample a seafood BBQ. Chez Bamboo has jazz on Fridays, Caribbean music with prime rib on Saturdays, and Morris Mark and his band perform on Sundays with an outdoor barbecue. The Sip and Dip Grill at Olde Yard Inn has an all-you-can-eat poolside BBQ and the Mineshaft has good local bands for "Ladies Night" on Fridays.
  • Little Dix Bay on Beach Coast has live entertainment several nights a week in season.

Jost Van Dyke

  • Foxy's Tamarind Bar in Great Harbour features Foxy Callwood, the yachties troubadour, who sings at happy hour every weekday. Foxy's also features Eruption on Fridays, Focus Band on Saturdays and Ruben Chinnery on Tuesdays. Club Paradise has live bands on Sundays and Wednesdays with a pig roast and limbo contest on Wednesdays. Ali Baba's has a live band Mondays and Wednesdays and an all-you-can-eat pig roast on Mondays.
  • Little Harbour natives gather at Harris' Place with Ruben Chinnery playing guitar at every Monday night.
