Symes-Zee on King George V Street is the happening place on Thursday nights to listen to live jazz. Cellars Bar is a lively after-work bar with an early evening crowd looking to relax. In Portsmouth, Rivers International Nightclub and Bar, opposite Ross University, features local and international music and is popular with the younger locals. The Arawak House of Culture can seat 540 for plays, concerts, dance shows and recitals. Performances are also held at the Old Mill Cultural Centre in Canefield.
