- Tons of bars have live entertainment on the weekends, including
the Bel Air, Chaconia and Moon Over Bourbon Street, just to
name a few. Some other discos offering an array of atmospheres
are Cascade Club, Pier One and The Parrot. Club Coconuts attracts
young partiers.
- The Silver Stars Steel Orchestra can be seen in rehearsal
at the Panyard in Port of Spain. Silver Stars plays at local
parties, cruise ships or on the beach. If you want to tune up
your musical talent, workshops for individuals or groups can
be arranged.
- For a nightcap and music, Pelican brings in crowds Fridays
and Saturdays. Also, Smokey and Bunty's in St James is popular.
Keep in mind, St. James is normally livelier at night than Port
of Spain.
- Though calmer than Trinidad, Tobago's hotels offer dancing.
Also, the Buccoo Folk Theatre puts on an entertaining show of
dancing and calypso every Thursday.
- In Scarborough, El Tropical is frequented mostly by locals
and has a live show every Saturday. Also, Michael's Bar is recommended
for pleasant conversation and evening entertainment. Don't miss
the three hot spots in the Crown Point area - Copra Tray, The
Deep, and Toucan Inn and Bonkers.
- Sunday School on Buccoo Beach is a big party starting early
every Sunday evening with live music and a DJ. Get a good days
rest because the music goes until the early morning hours.
